Natural Disaster Management
Natural Disaster Management was produced to mark the end of the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR), a United Nations initiative to reduce the negative effects of natural disasters.
The UN chose Tudor Rose to publish Natural Disaster Management, a volume that communicates solutions to the problems associated with natural disasters, stimulating discussion and improvements in methods of protecting people and property.
Tudor Rose published the book following a two-year project in partnership with the United Nations. The 320-page volume includes contributions from over 100 experts in hazard observation and helped to raise the profile of the IDNDR initiative, bringing issues concerning natural disaster management to a wider audience.
Natural Disaster Management is available to order in hardback & softback formats by contacting Tudor Rose or emailing subscribe@tudor-rose.co.uk.
